Web Accessibility in Higher Education Conference on 20 October
IAAP Nordic will host an online event to present the insights, recommendations and good practice examples brought forward by the project Web Accessibility in Higher Education.
The theme for the conference is how to best promote web accessibility education in higher education. The aim is to share how web accessibility can be better integrated into existing curricula and how to best prepare students for the new demands of the market in this field.
The day will offer many interesting cases about how different universities in the Nordic region are working to get web accessibility on the agenda in university projects and curricula. The conference is part of a project financed by Nordplus. The participants in the project are Oslo Metropolitan University, Laurea University, Lund University, Denmark Technical University, Funka and IAAP Nordic.
The presentations will be held in English.
Date and time: 20 October at 13:00 CEST
Target group: The conference is free of charge and open to everyone. The workshop is primarily aimed at course and program managers, as well as teachers and students in education in IT, design and communication. You do not need to have any prior knowledge.
