Workshop Helsinki 27 May
Does your university offer courses in web accessibility or would you like to learn more how to integrate web accessibility into university curricula? If you answered yes, this is the workshop for you!
IAAP Nordic is joining forces with four leading universities in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland as well as accessibility specialists company Funka Nu AB to set up a network to promote and strengthen web accessibility education throughout the Nordic countries.
During this two-year project, partners will analyse the status of web accessibility training in higher education and gather best practices for dissemination. A series of workshops and a conference will be organised to explore questions such as how web accessibility can be integrated better into existing curricula and how to best prepare students for the new market demands in the field.
The second workshop will be organised in Finland, at Laurea University of Applied Sciences, on 27 May 2019.
Date and time: 27 May 2019, 8:30–12:00
Place: Laurea, Ratatie 22, 01300 Vantaa
During the workshop, you will hear more about web accessibility training in Finland. Service design students will present the results of a web accessibility project and organise the workshop programme.
You are warmly welcome to Finland!
